52nd Annual Pancake Breakfast

Hello members and friends of Hillsboro Club of Kiwanis,
I want to invite you to 5th and Main St. in Hillsboro to have breakfast and then stay
and help on this service project of Kiwanis 52nd 4th of July Pancake Breakfast. As the saying goes “many hands make light work” and we would love to see you and do what Kiwanians due best Service projects to help kids.
Here are some of the programs that we are funding from the Breakfast income:
CAST fishing for a day for handicapped children
S.M.A.R.T. reading programs for elementary children and purchasing them books
DICTIONARY GIVE AWAY We give dictionaries to a every 3rd grader
SCHOLARSHIPS to Key club members and Miller Education West
SPONSOR 4 Key Clubs at Hillsboro high schools and CKI at Pacific University
FOOD BANK at WL Henry ELementary school
LIBRARY AFTER SALE give books to libraries of elementary school so every child in the school can have a new book for summer
Besides all the district programs MHKC, Doernbecher Research, SIGN, etc.
If you have not heard of some these programs and want to learn more see on the 4th to chat, eat, work and better yet come to a meeting. During Summer we are the Four Season’s Bowling Alley on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm In September we will be back at Coyotes Bar and Grill on Tuesdays at 6:15 pm dinner meeting. We will not have a meeting today, July 3rd but at the church setting up for the breakfast at 3:00 to 5:00 pm, so stop by help and  then come to pizza dinner at the Four Seasons Bowling alley.
